About Terra

Terra has always had a passion for animals. Recently she has combined her passion for animals with her previous experience as a high school teacher. With a Master’s degree in Education, Terra understands how to teach the owners so that together they can teach the dog. Terra also has work experience in the veterinary field as a technician learning valuable lessons about dog behaviors, dog body language, and proper handling techniques.

Terra has had the pleasure of working with Leah Anderson and A Level Beyond. She has been assisting and teaching classes that include but are not limited to STAR puppy, Canine Good Citizen, obedience, agility, and rally. 

Terra also volunteers as a dog foster. She has fostered many different breeds, sizes, and ages. Her favorite work is bottle feeding and working with feral dogs that have had little to no previous human interaction.

Terra is active in the agility field (both NADAC and AKC), and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen/Star puppy evaluator. She currently is a team lead for Tiny Tails K-9 Rescue in Lewis & Clark County. Terra is also a professional member of Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
